What is Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation?
Lynton IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Skin Rejuvenation treatments utilise the power of light energy in specific wavelengths to effectively target discolouration in the skin to create a more even looking complexion, whilst at the same time also stimulating fibroblast activity to produce new collagen and elastin to subtly improve the texture of the skin.

What skin conditions/issues does Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treat?
Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatments target pigmentation, sun damage, thread veins, enlarged pores and fine lines on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

What happens during a Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment?
Cool gel is applied to the treatment area and then short pulses of light are released through the IPL hand piece on to the skin. The light is turned to heat and absorbed by the melanin and haemoglobin on the surface of the skin. The hand piece is moved around the treatment area and the process is repeated.  Protective eye goggles are worn during the treatment.

Is a Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment painful?
Most people describe the discomfort as mild and tolerable, like the flick of an elastic band or a very quick, hot pin prick. No anaesthesia is required and the skin is cooled before and after treatment.

What results will I see?
This treatment helps to even out pigmentation and vascular irregularities, such as thread veins, whilst also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin to reduce lines and wrinkles.

How many treatments are required for great results?
Treatments can be carried out every 2-3 weeks.  A course of 6 treatments is recommended for best results.  Top-up sessions are typically recommended once or twice a year thereafter.

What is the recovery time following a Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment?
Redness and warm skin are expected after treatment.  Pigmentation will darken or form 'micro-crusts' before flaking off, leading to a more even skin tone.  Thread veins may darken before the hemoglobin is then absorbed into the skin.  New collagen will be produced over the following months, leading to a subtly improved quality and density of the skin.

A Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment is not suitable for the following clients:
* Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
* Sun tanned skin/use of sunbeds/fake tan
* Melasma or Vitiligo
* Active cancer
* Diabetes
* Epilepsy
* History of Keloid scarring

Feels Natural Aesthetics has a wide range of medical-grade devices that enable us to deliver safe and effective acne treatments with clinically proven results.
Acne is a very common skin condition that affects 95% of teenagers and adults to some extent over the course of their lifetime. Acne is commonly triggered by hormonal changes. In response, the sebaceous gland (found in the hair follicle) produces too much oil, or ‘sebum’, which captures dead skin, debris and, in turn, clogs up the follicles. Bacteria builds up in the sebaceous (oil-producing) gland which travels up the hair follicle and out to the skin’s surface, this results in blackheads, whiteheads, red or pus-filled spots, and inflamed skin. Acne is easily recognised by the appearance of the spots on the face, neck, chest, or back.

We often will advise products that need to be adhered to for good results and to help the treatments work, with products alone we have seen some very good improvements.
But we also must consider lifestyle too, we know that acne is related to hormones so as a teenager we understand why we get acne. But as adults it is much harder to comprehend it. Be aware that genetics can be a big influence, but also; stress, diet, sleep, contraception, pregnancies, menopause, and exercise. Stress can affect our hormones and we produce too much cortisol, diet has been suggested for many years the old eating too much chocolate. Certainly sugar can exacerbate and dairy has been linked due to the hormone levels in this produce, sleep is important as our skin repairs at night-time, and exercise whilst generally very good for us and should help to minimise stress and bring blood flow therefore nourishment, over exercise or high level’s of strength training can also change our hormones.
Thinking about your lifestyle and any changes you can make will not only help your results a lot but also make the long term risks of getting acne again less likely.

Immediately after treatment the skin may appear red and a warm tingling sensation may be felt. Typically the skin is cooled to ease any discomfort and a calming gel is applied.
Treatment is mildly uncomfortable but no anaesthesia is required. Many people describe the sensation as similar to the flick of an elastic band. However, a skin cooling device can be used to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

Almost everyone can be treated, apart from very dark skinned or tanned individuals. If you are pregnant or taking Roaccutane (an acne medication) it is best not to undergo laser or Intense Pulsed Light treatment.
A layer of chilled gel is applied to the skin to help guide the light. The light guide is placed onto the skin and a short pulse of light is released. The applicator is passed over the skin several times before moving onto the neighbouring area, and the process is repeated until the whole area is treated. Each pulse of light treats a large area of skin and so the duration of the treatment is very short. The gel is removed and the skin is moisturised. During treatment protective eye wear will be provided.

The light emitted from the Intense Pulsed Light system directly targets overactive sebaceous glands, greatly reducing the total number and severity of active lesions, and lessening the inflammation and occurrence of break-outs.

The light stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin texture, and can also reduce the appearance of red or brown areas of skin that are often associated with acne breakouts.
The number of treatments necessary varies from person to person, but typically 6 Intense Pulsed Light and 6 exfoliating treatments will result in a significant improvement.

Its like doing 20,000 sit-ups in 30 minutes while lying down. When the muscle is exposed to supra-maximal contractions, the muscle is not used to the high intensity and is is forced to adapt. The muscle responds with a deep remodelling of its inner the structure, resulting in muscle building and fat burning.
This is the only procedure to help both men and women burn fat and build muscle in all of these hard to treat areas, building muscle and reducing unwanted fat at the same time, our patients enjoy a noticeably more defined body.
The treatment works by directing highly focused electromagnetic energy to the targeted area. This forces muscles to contract in a way that is not possible through exercise. The muscles, in response to these contractions will rebuild themselves and fat will start to melt away more easily in the treated area.

There are a variety of triggers for rosacea. These include alcohol, exercise, high and low temperatures, hot drinks, spicy foods, stress and sun exposure. As there is no cure for rosacea, we will work closely with you to devise a personalised treatment plan to help combat and reduce rosacea.
Key Facts:
1. The onset of rosacea can be mistaken for acne or sensitive skin
2. It’s more common in those who have fair skin
3. It’s genetic
4. Rosacea has lots of triggers
To begin the treatment we will cleanse away any makeup or skincare and apply a cold gel on the area to be treated. The handpiece is gently applied to your skin and pulses of light are applied to the skin’s surface in gradient movements.
Protective eyewear will be supplied.
People with Rosacea have many facial thread veins which dilate to certain stimuli (eg hot bath or spicy food) and stay open for longer periods of time compared to non-Rosacea sufferers. These thread veins have weaker walls and therefore do not function properly.
Intense Pulsed Light treatment has been shown to be very effective in the treatment of Rosacea. It works by a process called photothermolysis. This light therapy selectively destroys the abnormal vessels (thread veins) that cause the Rosacea effect, allowing thicker walled micro vessels to be laid down.
Rosacea can vary considerably from one patient to another, treatments must always be tailored to individual needs. Your doctor or GP will be able to advise you on the various oral and topical medications. Often, a course of anti-biotics followed by on-going topical treatment is recommended. Your doctor will be able to discuss the possible benefits and side effects of prescribed medication.
Intense Pulsed Light is a drug free alternative which has shown to be extremely effective at getting rid of thread veins which cause the Rosacea effect.

Unfortunately, rosacea is a chronic condition however, with our medical-grade Lynton IPL treatment we can create a personalised treatment plan to help to get your rosacea under control.

Give skin back its snap… High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, also known as ‘HIFU’, ‘non-surgical face lift’, ‘lunchtime face lift’ or ‘Focus Dual’ has become one of the most sought-after lifting, firming, and tightening treatments for face and neck. HIFU uses Focused Ultrasound to target the deep structural layers of the skin with heat, which it does without damaging the skin’s surface. Focus Dual HIFU is one of the few treatments that can reach the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS)—which was previously accessible only via surgery. The result is a natural lift with virtually no downtime. The heat generated in the skin stimulates the cells to produce strong, new collagen and kick-start dormant collagen. As collagen production increases up to 12 weeks post treatment, this results in a more youthful and refreshed look.

Collagen is important for skin health because it is a natural protein that promotes skin suppleness, firmness, hydration, and a youthful glow. Unfortunately, collagen production begins to dwindle as we age. A HIFU Facial lifts, tightens, and firms up loose skin to counteract the effects of both time and gravity. With Focus Dual we can lift, firm, tighten, and sculpt the face, brow, neck and jawline. Areas such as the chest, hands and other parts of the skin and body can also be treated. This treatment will not only give skin back its snap, but it will also naturally kick-start your body to increase the production of collagen and elastin to reduce signs of ageing.

Is there any downtime with a HIFU treatment?

Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments, there is virtually no downtime. You may experience slight redness following the treatment, and a small percentage of our clients do experience minor swelling, tingling or tenderness. These symptoms are mild and temporary.

You will be able to return to your normal activities straight away, and there are no special recovery measures needed. This is why HIFU has earned the name “lunchtime face lift”.

How long will it take for me to see results?

Results can usually be seen immediately, but the results get better and better up to 12 weeks post treatment as your collagen is renewed.

We expect results to last 1-2 years, but this can be dependent on lifestyle and maintenance.

How does a HIFU facial treatment work?

This non-surgical face lift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin, which is the area surgeons tighten for face and neck lifts. Rather than surgery, the Focus Dual harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.

How many sessions will I need?

Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks and typically between 1 and 3 treatments are recommended for best results. Top-up sessions are performed as required, but usually only once or twice a year.

What does the treatment feel like?

You may experience some mild heating or a slight tingling sensation during treatment. Patients describe this as moderate and acceptable.

VelaShape III is a completely non-invasive body contouring procedure. It works to effectively reduce fat and cellulite in areas that are often hard to treat with diet and exercise alone. It uses a “combined energy system” called elōs™, which first uses a small vacuum to elevate the skin and then treats it with infrared light and radio-frequency energy. The energy produces heat below the surface of the skin, treating the underlying fat and tissue while leaving the surface unharmed. Treatments typically last an hour, and patients can return to their normal activities immediately with no downtime or pain.
The VelaShape III procedure has led to great results for many patients. One study revealed 85% of patients reported at least 1 centimetre to 3-inch reduction in the size of treated areas. Additionally, patients see a reduction in the amount and visibility of cellulite in those areas and more tightened and toned skin.
VelaShape III works on the outer thighs, buttocks, and abdomen, regardless of how large or small the area is. Plus, the treatment is effective on people of all skin types and colours.

One of the main causes of obesity is the excess of lipid synthesis overthe processes of their digestion. In this case, the excess fat remains in the body and accumulates in the subcutaneous fat between muscle fibers and on vessel walls. Fat Dissolving combats these deposits.
When introduced into the subcutaneous tissue, FatDissolving increases the osmotic pressure within the cells and splits the fat into its components, which causes the cell membrane to rupture.
The cleavage products of the adipocyte enter the lymph flow and blood via the damaged membrane and are excreted by the kidneys and liver.Flat scars form at the introduction site of Fat Dissolving(inside the cellulose), which contribute to the destruction of a dipose tissue.

Fat Dissolving

Duration

Around 1 Hour

Starting at £205

The effects of Fat Dissolving are driven by lipolysis, a process that results in the cleavage of one molecule of triglycerol (the substance that makes up an adipocyte, or fat cell) into three molecules of fatty acid and one molecule of glycerol. This splitting occurs with the help of injections, which, upon entering the fatty tissue, causes the release of fat from the adipocytes.

Laser Hair Removal is one of the most popular treatments for both men and women, by using pulses of laser light we can damage the hair follicle for permanent hair reduction. Unlike other methods, such as waxing and shaving, our laser hair removal device can offer a pain-free solution with long-lasting results for ALL skin types. The hair will become finer and softer becoming less visible and the growth will slow down more and more with each treatment. You can say goodbye to ingrown hairs, shaving rash and stubble in the treated area. You can also see an improvement in both the tone and texture of your skin.

Pain-Free Laser Hair Removal is:
* Proven safe for all skin types
* Suitable for dense coarse hair or thin sparse hairs
* Treatment sessions are very fast, even for large areas such as the legs or back
* Pain-free
* Comfortable
* Nearly any part of your body can be treated
* Outstanding clinical results

The applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released, which targets many follicles simultaneously. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area of skin and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated.
The hair follicles are damaged by heat but the hairs remain in the follicles. The dead hairs shed after 1 – 3 weeks as the epidermis renews. During this period the hairs will seem to ‘grow’ as they are pushed out by the new epidermis.
Treatments can take as little as 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the treatment area.
The skin may be red immediately after treatment and the hair follicles may be swollen and bumpy but this usually subsides within a few hours. Unwanted reactions are rare but may include a small blister or temporary lightening or darkening of the skin.
Only hair that is actively growing is affected, therefore multiple treatments are needed. Treatment is conducted every 4 – 8 weeks, depending on the area treated, until a satisfactory result is seen. The required number of treatments varies, but typically 6 or more treatments are needed for optimum results.
Light is emitted and absorbed by melanin within the hair, which is then converted to heat energy damaging the hair follicle.
With standard laser hair removal treatments, you can feel what is described as a ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band during treatment.

Skin tightening and skin lifting treatments are the tightening and lifting of the skin on the face, chin, neck, or body. At the Lynton Clinic we have the most effective methods for tightening loose and crepe-y skin whilst also improving skin tone and texture. In our late 20’s, the production of collagen and elastin slows down, we experience a loss in the proteins which help our skin stay firm, plump and toned.
With this treatment we can deliver energy deep into the skin for collagen and elastin production, which will not only leave your skin looking fresher, tighter and more youthful in appearance but also more even in tone and smooth in texture. No matter your age everyone can benefit from this collagen stimulating treatment.

With our non-invasive lifting, tightening, and firming treatments we have the ability to stimulate multiple layers of skin remodelling, not just the surface layer but deep into the dermis with little to no downtime. At the Lynton Clinic we have a range of world-leading devices for skin tightening treatments including the 3JUVE, ONDA and ProMax Lipo. Following a thorough consultation, we will choose the right course of treatment for you.

What is Cryotherapy?
The term Cryotherapy can be divided into ‘Cryo’ , which means cold or freezing, ‘lipo’ which mean fat and ‘lysis’ which means to break down or fall apart. Therefore when combined it is literal translation, meaning the destruction or removal of fat cells by freezing or cooling. It works through the process known as apoptosis. This means the fat cells that are exposed to the cold will disintegrate in a process of natural cell death.
Fat cells are more sensitive to the cold then other types of cells. Hence why only the fat is
removed while sparing neighbouring skin, muscle and nerves.
